Welcome

If you are ready to embrace your true self, discover your purpose, and find peace after distressing experiences, you've come to the right place. Allow me to assist you in discovering who you truly are.

I enjoy working with those who have dealt with different types of trauma and abuse who are looking to move beyond their painful history and claim joy and satisfaction in their lives. I specialize in treating PTSD and Complex PTSD including psychological and emotional trauma and abuse as well as physical and sexual abuse. We will work together using a variety of evidence-based modalities to help you identify and reclaim your sense of self so you can move beyond your trauma in meaningful and gratifying ways.

In sessions, I will help you identify beneficial coping skills and grounding techniques to support you in finding balance and a sense of renewed safety. We will discuss any maladaptive behaviors that are presenting challenges for you and work together to create appropriate interpersonal boundaries so you can move confidently into the next chapter of life.

If appropriate, EMDR is also available if you would like to engage in the benefits of this effective and well-regarded therapy approach. EMDR can aid you in fully processing your traumatic experiences to help you more fully recover and regain your intrinsic sense of value and personal strength.

I know what it is like to feel emotionally, psychologically, or mentally compromised. That is why I have dedicated my professional life to helping others restore hope and purpose in their lives.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a type of therapy that helps clients process disturbing past experiences and reduce their impact on clients’ current lives. Its goal is to address unresolved traumatic memories in the brain, helping individuals find peace after experiencing trauma or distress. Unlike other therapies, EMDR doesn't involve talking extensively about the traumatic event or doing extra work outside of sessions. It allows the brain to naturally heal itself without having to concentrate on changing thoughts, emotions, or behaviors regarding the distressing event.

It takes courage and perseverance to discover a path to a better future. If you are ready to take that first step toward a more satisfying life, reach out and let’s explore the next steps in your journey to contentment.
